Changhong Electric and China Telecom have inked a strategic agreement to jointly develop communications, and consumer electronics goods. The two will also stress on the production of video telephones and IPTVs (Internet Protocol TVs), while working in combining sales networks. China Telecom is optimistic about launching multimedia terminals that integrate both voice and image solutions in the near future. 

 

Changhong will offer support China Telecom's sales by leveraging its resources in the home electronics channel, while China Telecom is willing to display the former's offerings in its retail locations.
